I just recently have had an alt of the proper level to quest in this new questing zone, and I wanted to say its a great improvement and was really well done. Hopefully we can see more of these done in underused zones, or even see some quests in current zone revamped to provide a more streamlined questing experience.

I do understand that the developers want to limit the time they spend on old content, but should they look to do more of this in the future the tightness of this zone is a good model to follow IMO.

I think one of the issues with leveling, at least for those rolling alts, is that once you get to a certain level, maybe about 20, give or take, you start getting more and more quests that require multi-zone travel. This is a time sink when players don't have the flight paths or a mount, and many require a lot of back and forth. An overall better way to design leveling zones is to create circular quests around the zone, that allow you to do multiple quests per pass, and require little backtracking. Then at the end of the chains you should get quests that send you to the next area of progression, hopefully with little need to come back.

Should Blizzard decide to further enhance leveling I would suggest one of the easiest ways is to simple increase quest item drop rates. Of course, revaluing experience rewarded and reducing the experience required to level is also a big help.

We would like to revisit some of these older areas in the future, but it's going to be contingent on when we have the time to put into it.
