Cross-Realm zones and gathering professions

Leveling gathering professions with this system is completely and utterly ridiculous. As if flying around low level zones scooping up junk wasn't bad enough, now we are competing with 20 other servers (or more? maybe a few less?) for the same low level junk with awful spawn times and density.

I have literally been flying around Hellfire Peninsula for 2 hours, and found 2 Fel Iron Ore deposits and 3 Felweeds. I have seen at least 40 other people, and have to imagine that each and every one of them is just as irritated and frustrated as I.

Add the disgusting amount of bots that people run on this game for months on end with no bans and it becomes just asinine. I propose several solutions.

A. Vastly increase the number of spawn points for herb and ore nodes.
B. Vastly increase the frequency of spawn points for herb and ore nodes.
C. Make herb and ore nodes not cross realms; have them spawn for each realm individually.
D. Have an option to disable CRZ altogether (my personal favorite because I think the entire idea is too far grasping)
E. Allow multiple skill ups per herb and ore node based on orange/yellow/green difficulty.
F. Provide an alternative means to leveling these tradeskills in the non-current level difficulty if you do not require/want the ore/herbs; e.g. research, archaeology items, etc.

I'm sure I speak for anyone who has leveled a gathering profession since 5.0 when I ask that something be done, because it really removes all the fun from the game when you cannot complete a previously extremely simple (though admittedly mind-numbingly boring) task due to the vast number of people trying to accomplish the same task.
