Q u o t e:
When are peak times? It's great that we know we can't create and why, but when? So far it's looking like I'm going to half to rob her of her character creation process because blizzard has chosen her work hours as "non-peak" and she wants to play.
What is being done to resolve the issue in the long run? Are more servers going to be opened? It doesn't seem fair to charge for the Burning Crusade and then not allow people to play where they want to. Also, just being honest I told her I'd write a message up here and she said "Like they care.". Take that as you will - we've both been playing over a year.
Thanks for your time.
Peak hours are generally from 4pm - 12am PST and weekends. While it is not specifically the peak hours stopping character creation, it's the queue to get into the realm. This measure was put into place to avoid additional realm stability issues from an influx of newly created characters.
If you would like to see new realms opened or limitations changed with regards to this limit, please post on our
Suggestions forum. Let us keep this thread related to realm stability issues now, please. = )
