72 hour ban

This toon Mathiaas on Runetotem server was banned. I was told for exploitation of the economy. But I don't know how this could have happened.

I want to make sure I never have this problem again. Can a GM or someone tell me why I got banned? And how do I prevent it?

I have never bought or sold gold or did power leveling as I feel this is cheating and know this is against the TOS. I do however sell alot on the auction house but I sell things I get from questing and things I buy from vendors.

My first suggestion friend, if you know YOU never did any such thing - make very sure your account/PC has not been compromised with a virus or a keylogger.

I cannot look into this at the moment, but such things aren't that uncommon with compromised accounts.

Matter of fact - that's how a lot of players first realize they HAVE been victimized by a keylogger.
