Or, rather it won't display until you visit the correct location. >.>

Speaking of movies, I just watched Suicide Kings and Man of the Year last night.

Christopher Walken, you are my champion.

Twulf—What was that book series you were recommending previously? I ask, as I compiled this awesome "book basket" for my beau's mom this past Mother's Day and threw in the typical fantasy good'uns that some people tend to overlook (Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, The Mirror of Her Dreams, Stardust and Good Omens, Sabriel, and The Alchemist), but I could not recall the novels you suggested and it made me sad.

Don't deprive yourself of good tasting food; that's the quickest way to end a good diet before it can begin. Limit your portions, or find tasty treats that are nothing but wholesome.

If you don't like celery, don't eat it. Find another healthy substitute, something that you'll like. Olives, maybe? Apples? Carrots? Strawberries? Blueberries are excellent, too. And melons are in season.

Drink water whenever you get hungry first. Or green/white tea. The liquid'll fill your belly and you'll eat less. Don't do anything else while you eat, too; focus on the meal itself and don't get distracted, otherwise you may forget or not realize just how much you've consumed.

Also, aim towards raw or completely whole foods with no preservatives or substitutes. They'll make you feel hungry faster for eating less. ;)

And get a recumbent bike! They're excellent and you can ride while watching TV. ^^

It was one of the books I was sorry to finish I enjoyed it so much. And thank you for the health tips. I also joined a gym, but only made one day this week. I was going to go this morning while he was asleep, but he woke up too early. LOL! Even though he's 15 and can on his own, he's pretty miserable right now. I always to the bike at the Gym after my work out. I'm shooting for 5 miles in 20 minutes. I'm up to 4.3

No problem! I just hate seeing people miserable—particularly those of whom I'm fond—because of a diet or a dieting switch. There's really no reason for it. Unhappiness usually leads to more erratic eating habits, anyway. =/

That said, I'm not a fan of "diets." Full lifestyle changes, yes, because they're not temporary.

Do you know that every 7 seven years, you're effectively a "new" person, because most all of your cells will have essentially regenerated by then? It's something positive to think about. In a few years from now, from this very moment, you'll be completely remade, so to speak. :)

Do you live in a happy, pleasant neighborhood? Ones that's nice to go biking around?

I ended up purchasing a cruiser and, oh man, I ride that thing into the ground. It makes feel like a kid again and it's easy just to zone out and forgot that I'm even exercising.

I've been keenly motivated in years past to "go that extra mile" towards being exceptionally healthy since quite a family few members have been diagnosed with diabetes. =/

Another vote for whole grain stuff from me. It's amazing, tastes good, and fills you up. A++ would eat again.

Applies to sugar, as well. Anything that's whole and largely untampered with is amazing. Your body'll digest it easier and put most of it to use instead of storage.

Agave nectar is cool sugar substitute. Nummy.

(I've been eating avocados recently. Cracked open down the center with just a bit of salt. Stupid fruit, why are you so tasty? D:< )
