Ok i sent an in game message to the Blizzard support team. At this point in tiem i was not online when i recieved the response. I want you to see what i wrote...

remember the issue was i could not see any form of chat at all..

Petition: Issue I am having:

I said this:
"Cant see guild chat.
Cant type in guild chat? not even by using /g
I hear people logging in and out of the guild but its not displaying on this character but works all everyone of my other characters. So i cant type to say hey whats not working! unless i am on another toon. cant type in /say, lol this might make it difficult for you to fix. and beofre we start its not a WTF folder lol, cause my other toons work the same :P I must hit a button somewhere by accident."

I think some GM's must be becoming Robotic and use the WTF folder thing as a fall back...

here is what your Blizz team wrote to me.

"
Answer: Sorry we missed you while you were online.
To fix this, first try disabling all your addons that you might be using. There are two seperate issues that may be causing this. Espechially if this is happening to only 1 of your characters.
If this does not work then please try and reset your UI by deleting the interface, cache and WTF folders to reset this.
This will delete any macros that you might have but it one of these two will fix the issue for you."

Just a heads up on both accounts it was not any thing such as add-ons... and I use blizzard interface, and it was not my WTF folder, this should be a last resort. As well asall my characters would share the same add-ons so that shouldnt be the issue. Just in case someone has the same issues.
The proper thing should have been to check Options>Interface>Social and then click on simple chat and hit the okay button and then return to game, if this issue doesnt fix it, then step 2.

go to the main chat window where you usually chat, right click on general tab and under settings make sure that all your boxes for chat are checked off, this should help. After hours of doing everything, to fix the problem this worked!!

Pass this memo along so people can resolve this same issue if they experience it.

Best advice to Blizzard staff, Dont always assume its the WTF folder. WTF seems like its a "crutch" for "oh no what do we tell them".

But the thing that made me realize we are all human and you may not be as robotic as we sound is
"There are two seperate issues that may be causing this. Espechially if this is happening to only 1 of your characters." this made me happy :) before I always thought i was talking to a pre recorded message.

thinking outside the box.

Rygor, there are specific troubleshooting reasons why we request that you reset your user interface. The first being that it is possible that something became corrupted and no amount of fiddling with your addons or the standard interface will be able to alleviate the issue.

It is also possible for these corruptions to only affect a single character. Resetting your User Interface allows us to start from the beginning to ensure that there are no issues with your character itself; thus allowing us to easily assume that the issue was a result of an addon of some form.

Usually if you are unable to see a chat line, however, you can try using the command: "/resetchat" and see if that does anything for you. It does not always work and if it does not it will almost always require you to reset your User Interface. This goes for if you are using an addon or not.

This usually doesn't do much to help, as most folks would rather use the complete chat functionality without using Simple Chat. Setting it to Simple Chat will sometimes, reset your chat options, but not always.

This is another reason why we simply suggest that you reset your interface; it's a much faster, and more efficient method of removing any possible issues that may have occurred with your chat system's functionality.

I understand that resetting your user interface seems to be a "crutch" and can be a hassle, but I can assure you that there is a method to our madness. =)

/reload ui merely resets your interface to where it would be when you login. ^_^

It could still become corrupted. And if you don't have any extra addons, deleting the folders I mentioned would cause no major inconveniences. I still suggest you try it.

It sounds like he already fixed it... albeit the hard way. ©_©
