How do I turn off Heroic Difficulty?

I'm trying to go into certain instances and it won't let me bc "Heroic difficulty is not available for <insert instance>."
However when I go to turn it off there is no longer an option to do so.

Any help would be appreciated

As mentioned before, the current workaround is to type: /script SetDungeonDifficulty(1)

This will set heroic mode at the normal level, allowing entry into dungeons.

If you experience any further issues with this, you should contact in game support.

This is true. Heroic mode must be unlocked through various means for each particular dungeon in Outland. Only the five-person dungeons in the expansion will have a Heroic setting.
