Howdy folks!

It's with great pleasure that I introduce the newest member of the Customer Service Forum Staff: Orlyia!

Orlyia, previously known as Cygnet/Duckette, will be joining us in helping those of you here in the World of Warcraft Community. Please make her feel like a valuable member of the team, and you know what that means... teasing, torturing and tomfoolery is not only welcome, but encouraged. :D

Get your pots and pans ready, her new avatar will be quite tasty... Too bad I can't tell you what it is! Muwahaha...

Welcome and Congratulations! =)

I shall pass to you my [Helm of Shenanigan Detection] that Vrak passed to me long ago. May it serve you well.

Thanks all.

Very happy to be here.

Aredek has been very patient teaching me the ropes the last week - round of applause for the hardest workin' birdman in the business!

Welcome!

I shall ponder the types of soup we can make of your yet-to-be-seen avatar!

Until then, you can make [Boiling Water]. ^_^

So, I'm still confused; is it supposed to be "Orlyia" or "Orylia"?

Cause "Orylia" is way easier to pronounce...

Regardless of longstanding pronunciation rules, it's safe to simply say "Oh-really-uh".

Welcome Orlyia!

Pentagon: Page looks OK to me, no doubt some WoWWiki edit monster will fix any nasty foo up.

^ this looks like suitable info for the WoWWiki page.. once it comes out of maint and we can edit it again :)

Ya'll are very sweet.

Honestly, long as I get called in time for dinner, don't make a whole lot of difference to be where you break up the syllables OvO!

O RLY?

I know there's a bigger one hiding somewhere, but I'm not gonna post it 'cause it's huge =P

Thank you very much Pentagon - that will indeed do nicely for now!

I believe her name sounds incredibly Shakespearean.

Glad to have you, Orlyia. May your stay be of the romantic comedy variety. :)

I saw the thread this morning and have had Natalie Merchant's "Ophelia" stuck in my head since.

I do so love that song. :)

Hehe, speaking of Orlyia's avatar, I think it should be, if not a puntable female gnome, the ghostie spirit owl that flies around the top of the tower in Honor Hold.

http://img108.imageshack.us/img108/1046/ghostowlgr7.jpg Like this! It looks damn nifty, I think. :D

So you want the Avatar of Terokk to be the avatar of Orlyia?
#95 - May 16, 2008, 2:54 p.m.
Blizzard Post
Q u o t e:
Sure, why not?

... Besides, what's the Avatar of Terrok doing flying around the Honor Hold tower, anyway? o_O

Is that sass? Am I being sassed? EVERYONE. LOOK AT THIS SASSING.

Belfy, what's the difference between root beer and sassafrass?

You can't rearrange sounds in "sassafrass" to make "boot rear". Also root beer doesn't cause liver cancer.

I'd like to give a hearty welcome to the new GM and offer some [Cookies] [Coffee] and [Other Delicious Treets].

I do have a question though:

What time frames do you folks work? I know people post early in the morning (usually East Coaters) and the regulars tell them the blues will be on in a few hours. I've noticed this morning that Orly seems to be answering posts this early, so when do you all work? ::confuzzled::

Orlyia - 12 AM to 9 AM CST
Syndri and Aredek- 7 AM to 4 PM CST
Ananathes (on Latin American CSF) - 9 AM to 6 PM
Auryk - 11 AM to 8 PM CST
Malkorix - 12 PM to 9 PM CST
Reythur and Vrakthris - 4 PM to 1 AM CST
Belfaire - 6 PM to 3 AM CST

Actually... I currently work 6am to 3pm PDT (8am to 5pm CDT). I will be moving an hour ahead, though, so I'll be kickin' it back at 7am to 4pm PDT (9am to 6pm CDT) shortly. ;)

But it's all in those crazy morning hours, so who cares, right? *bounces*

Now, if only I could remember how to convert those to east Australian time...

You're GMT + 10 hours, correct?

PDT = GMT - 7 hours
CDT = GMT - 5 hours

That's all the math I'll do for ye, lassie. :P

Hey Belfy, if I end up joining you guys, can I work with you? :D

I'm sure you'll see plenty of me if you do. My movement through the building is slowed by my need to look at my reflection in every window I pass.

Curly fries and a cherry turnover.

And, I beg to differ. I'm quite fond of my cozy duplex, one which happens to sit about two blocks from a sandy beach. The kitchen window has a fantastic view of the shoreline.

I'm a renter, actually. Given current markets, though, I believe the duplex would sell for quite a bit more'n that. :)

Aye. Cost of living is a wee bit high. I've spent all my self-supporting life here, however, so it's pretty standard.
