Yeah, you can go ahead and send a ticket in-game or an email to [email protected] if you feel that the account was stolen, traded, or sold.

Also? Don't eBay accounts, kiddo. It's bad news bears.

You're welcome! Account security is an issue we touch on quite a bit here, so as long as you're informed, it's one (virtual) life saved.

Please explain to me EULA section 3 par section B:
B. You may permanently transfer all of your rights and obligations under the License Agreement to another by physically transferring the original media (e.g., the CD-ROM or DVD you purchased), all original packaging, and all Manuals or other documentation distributed with the Game; provided, however, that you permanently delete all copies and installations of the Game in your possession or control, and that the recipient agrees to the terms of this License Agreement. The transferor (i.e., you), and not Blizzard, agrees to be solely responsible for any taxes, fees, charges, duties, withholdings, assessments, and the like, together with any interest, penalties, and additions imposed in connection with such transfer.

If one has done everything in above why is this not allowed??

The above, as it strictly states, refers solely to physical copies of the game, not to virtual property such as accounts, characters, and items.

This software program, and any files that are delivered to you by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. (via on-line transmission or otherwise) to "patch," update, or otherwise modify the software program, as well as any printed materials and any on-line or electronic documentation (the "Manual"), and any and all copies and derivative works of such software program and Manual (collectively, with the "Game Client" defined below, the "Game") is the copyrighted work of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. or its licensors (collectively referred to herein as "Blizzard"). Any and all uses of the Game are governed by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("License Agreement" or "Agreement"). The Game may only be played by obtaining from Blizzard access to the World of Warcraft massively multi-player on-line role-playing game service (the "Service"), which is subject to a separate Terms of Use agreement (the "Terms of Use").

The EULA refers only to the physical copy of the game. The Terms of Use refer to account usage.

I would also recommend contacting whoever you paid through and let them know it was a case of fraud so you can get your money back. If the people you paid through (Paypal I am guessing), won't do anything, contact your bank and let them know what happened. Keep copies of all your emails and good luck.

The only issue with this is that eBay has specifically outlawed WoW account sales, as far as I recall, so I'm not sure how effective contesting an illegitimate transaction will be.

Isn't the authentication key a physical entity though that comes as part of the contents included inside the box that one is allowed to transfer in it's entirety?

Because as the EULA states you are required to transfer ALL the contents of the box AND the KEY is part of those contents and if you don't transfer the key then you would be in violation of that part of the EULA, correct?

Nope. The EULA covers only physical media. Whereas the discs can be used for infinite installs, an Authentication Key can only be used once--to create a regular account which is then subject to the Terms of Use.
