Lost Quest/ Destroyed Item

Yesterday I noticed that one of my quests went missing when I noticed the quest giver had the quest to give me. When I saw this, I checked my bank for the quest item that I already had and it was gone too.

I opened a ticket immediately regarding this to only receive a in-game mail stating they missed me (when I was on the whole time) and proceeded to open an additional ticket to see the previous ticket. This time I had to log. Still... nothing was sent in regards about my petition to my email.

I opened a ticket today and finally spoke to someone about it. They could not help with this and directed me to forums.

All I want is the item back that got destroyed by somehow of the quest being abandoned that I never physically abandoned. The GM said I abandoned the ticket an hour before I picked up the quest again (thinking it was a new one) and did see the item was destroyed -- therefore I did have the item.

I would have no problem in getting the same item for the quest if the server I am on was so crappy to get a group for it yet once again. Which I had the item sometime last year.

I'm sorry that you experienced this, Pythros, but it looks like you abandoned the quest around this time last night. It looks like you were abandoning a few other quests around then as well.

We're unable to reimburse you for the items that are needed for quests that you abandoned; the game was designed to delete the items upon quest abandonment and we are unable to go against that design.

If that is the case then I would recommend resetting your User Interface as it is very possible that you have an addon that fiddles with that feature.
