Botters run rampant, GMs do nothing (w/SS)

Cheating is out of control in this game now, and it is ruining the playing experience. I have to report people i every BG I enter, and even when an offending person gets reported, they remain in the game for the entire match doing nothing but sitting in a graveyard or running to the closest group, autoattacking, and then getting killed.

Out in the world, there are gold famers who will sit in a specific zone all day and nothing happens to them. I have reported the same lvl 70 Alliance Hunter 3 times now out in Silithus, who does nothing but farm elementals for Airs (which go for 150g-200g a pop on our realm). Occasionally, he gets stuck in the terrain and his target evade bugs, so he will sit there spamming Steady Shot like an idiot. Thats how I know its not a human running the account.

3 Times I have reported this guy, in the last 2 weeks, and he is there everyday without fail. Here is an SS if you dont believe me.

This is just one example of this type of botter. I see them all over the place, and I have reported them before. This is the first time Ive done any serious farming myself (thorium), so thats how Ive come to see this guy so often. Its very disappointing that removing cheaters from this game is not a priority anymore, or at least it doesnt appear that way.

ROFLMAO! Really? I hate to say it, but yes, yes it is considering they already have a form of IP recognition running (authenticator anyone). Block the IP range the user comes in at.

And they get another - as easily as they pick up another stolen account when one is caught and taken out.

This is a fight we fight daily. As mentioned previously, the only real weapon here is going to ultimately be players not giving them money - not buying gold. As long as there is a profit to be made they will continue to steal, scam, bot and phish to supply the demand.
