Shadow Orbs (or glyphed Ravens) Question

So currently on live shadow orbs actually stay floating around your character the entire time they are up, which is a stark contrast to current MoP beta, where they only hover for a few seconds.

I want to know if that is intentional or if they plan on implementing that always up visual that is on live?

I remember at the beginning of cata, it was hard to see when you had an orb up, so I had to make a power aura to make sure I mindblasted properly. I LOVE the visual of them floating around and would like to see it reimplemented.
