Deadlines are fine when they're art deadlines. They help motivate me, and motivation's not quite there when I'm the only one relying on my timely work. When other people are relying on it, I do much faster work.

I've quoted Ladytron before, but not this specific song (Playgirl), as far as I'm aware. Someone else pointed out those lyrics when they noticed I had Destroy Everything You Touch in my sig, though.
