Blocking players from seeing you on line

Is there anyway to block certain players from seeing that you have logged on? There is someone who has latched on to me after a few days questing when all was fine. I helped him out with several of my toons. Then he started telling me all his problems and how he is suicidal etc. And now the very moment I log on he is sending me party invites, to make it easier to "chat". I have discouraged him, telling him I do not want to group, that I cannot handle his problems etc. but he simply does not stop. I stopped playing all my alliance toons because of this, and now only play horde because he doesn't know them.
So, I want him to not know when I log on.
Also there may be times I just want to be left alone and not have anyone know I am logged on. Is this possible? Thanks in advance

Re-iterating this question. If there's an answer to be provided, I would sincerely appreciate a response. Please.

There's not enough information provided or available at present to narrow a search, Skerion. It be would akin to looking for a needle in a very, very large haystack. =/

Zuzu, I like you. I really do. But this is not a topic to be quipping. Such situations (or potential situations) are very serious matters.

This is what I was trying to express, only I used about five words. I hope we leave this one - its a very important point to make.

It wasn't necessarily what you said, Zuzu; it was precise phrase used to convey your intent—which, I admit, I misinterpreted. Highlighting a particular phrase and then using the "obvious [x] is obvious" tends to insinuate a more negative connotation.

My apologies for assuming a flippant tone when there was none. Regardless, removing it was probably best, as it don't want others to bounce off that statement in turn.
