I recently re-imaged my laptop but my girlfriend has wow on her computer, I removed all the installer tomes on her laptop so I can't just transfer them. Is there any way to get the whole game to my laptop? The entire WoW folder is a little under 1G so I don't know where all the other files are. Is it possible to get the game off her laptop onto mine?

Hi Ramennoodles,

World of Warcraft should be approaching 5 GB and Burning Crusade closing in on 8 GB. You can simply just do a Windows File Sharing session and copy the entire installed game (just the World of Warcraft folder) over.

Q u o t e:
Could you give me details on how to create the shared file session and copy the installation to another computer?

Just copying the folder would not create the required registry entries, etc to successfully run the program, would it?

When you're running the game as an administrator, it'll create all the registry keys it needs.
