Focus on a mouseover target's pet

I was wondering if there was a way in a macro to cast a spell on a mouseover target's pet.

something like
/cast [target=mouseoverpet, exists] Renew or similar.

I know the syntax isn't right and it may require a script, anyone have any ideas? I don't want to specify specific party members pets, I want it to be flexible so I just need the one macro.

In the next patch you should be able to use [target=mouseover-pet].

But only if mouseover is in your party or raid. :)

Yes, it will. I believe target=focustarget works right now, actually.
