Should I Take the 16th Off?

I am very excited for the BC release. I have preorded and should be picking my copy up at 12 AM on Tuesday morning, the 16th. My question is this. Will it be pointless to take off starting on the 16th, due to the server being down for the reasons of scheduled maintenance, as well as it being rediculously buggy with the new expansion? Or will it be somewhat smooth, due to the before the storm patch, and i will be able to install the game right when i purchase it, and log on and play?

If I could take the 16th off to play the expansion, without a doubt I'd do so. It's nearly impossible to plan for a flawless launch of this magnitude, however, we've taken great steps to prepare our infrastructure for the Burning Crusade and it's going to truly be an exciting and epic day.
