Why restrict Argent Squires?

If there is no problem with having pixel animals and pixel mechanical beings fight, why can't we use pixel humans like Argent Squires?

Balloons, Kites, Argent Squire/Gruntlings and Guild Pages/Heralds will not be able to pet battle. This may change with time, but this is the current plan.
