Today I log in to find that " Unknown" has taken alot of things from our guild bank. I know that GMs can not do anything about guild bank thefts but... how do I find out who took the items? The only people with access to one of the tabs where higher quality items are stored are officers and it appears that none have left. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Hello there, Morehotpckts.

Regrettably, it appears that a member who had been granted access to the guild bank has removed items based on the permissions that have been set by the Guild Master. I apologize; however, the Game Master staff will be unable to provide you with the name of this player due to privacy concerns. It does appear that this player was a member of your guild for some time, and did not acquire the ranks by falsifying his/her identity.

There are two cases in which a player will be shown as "Unknown" in the logs. This only occurs if a player has transferred off of the realm or has been deleted.

I sincerely apologize, Morehotpckts, but I'm afraid we will be unable to provide additional information or reimbursement for this issue. :(

I thought as much. Thank you for looking into it.

My pleasure, friend. I wish I had more hopeful information to provide. :(

Regrettably, Alcmene, this is simply information we are unable to provide. The Game Master staff itself will not provide information which may lead harassment of a player. Providing information by way of Game Master intervention and providing information as a game mechanic are entirely different beasts.

You are, however, welcome to recommend that these names stay in the Guild Logs even if a player decides to transfer or delete their character on the Suggestions Forum. In this case, the Game Master department is not providing additional information which would create further conflict, but would reveal the names of these players.
