Ok this isnt a flame thread since my main (this toon) is a hunter, i just wanted to know if any long term hunters (50-70) are finding hunters a tad...boring now ?

I mean i will admit my job in instances is easy, pew pew and thats it...i kinda liked not being mega depended on like Tanks and Healers. But now i find it boring, so ive actually start a Druid alt on a PVP server (since as a PVE server based player) i really regret not starting on PVP.

Ive decided to dedicate myself to being a tank (feral) because i wanted to give tanking a go for once. And i must admit IM ADDICTED, having a few tanking runs in Ragefire (yes easy i know) but i love the feeling of being 'The Man' basically. I like the feeling i get when i run and save a poor squishy from mobs (that id lost aggro to (yea yea i know i should lose aggro but im learnding :P), because after all those squishies and healers are the ones saving my arse the whole time.

I like the druid class even more then hunters now as we have the ability to play several roles, DPS, Tanking (my fave) healing/off healing or cat form (like a rogue kinda thing), druids just have soo much flexability and class depth....not just, Sick pet, pew pew...zzzzzzz boring.

Any other hunters or even general dps classes feel this way ?

Oh and shapeshifting is sweet :D (one minute im casting or healing, the next im up front tanking 3-4 mobs....or in todays case 6).

Sometimes. They start showing me pictures of their favorite pet and then they won't stop talking about them. "The other day Fluffy did the cutest thing." I really don't care how long it took you to floss their teeth the other night. I'm sure it's very cute when they snore too. But come ON there is more to life than just your pet! ... hold on.. I need to pick a flower... I'll get back to you in a bit on my rant on hunters.

On the more serious end, I don't know of anyone who hasn't run into the 'wall' on a class they once loved. Any time you get to a point where you no longer feel you have a challenge or can't push the envelope to get any better, you can start to question your enjoyment of a certain thing. You either, play another class, or you find a way to rediscover the fun you had with your class to begin with.

Play the class you enjoy. That's the ultimate answer for you.
