Why does it take so long to have the trial account tag removed? I paid full price online for the retail game and BC, paid for a character transfer and now I cant do anything on my toon because it says I'm on a trial account. I know I recieved an email saying it would be removed shortly but its been over 24 hours already.

You guys should give a warning or something online when people are paying for the game online, had I known this I would of went to Best Buy.

Q u o t e:
My friend referred me yesterday and now my brother decided to play so i upgraded my account and refereed him. Now were sitting here staring at each other unable to invite one another. If a game is going to make offers like "click here to play now!" they should follow through with them. This is extremely frustrating how long did it take you're accounts to switch over? I don't really have to wait 24 hours do i?

Kirto, if you upgraded online you can "play now". You simply have a few restrictions which you are warned about when you upgrade online. :)

On the first page when you go to when you log into the account to upgrade it says something like this:

Q u o t e:
Your World of Warcraft Trial ends in 0 day(s).
If you wish to continue the epic adventure, upgrade your account below:
Trial restrictions may remain on the account for up to 72 hours.

After you click the link that says Upgrade Online Right Now! you are taken to another page where this paragraph is in a bright yellow box.

Q u o t e:
NOTE: Most trial restrictions will be removed immediately after payment information is entered for this upgrade, but some restrictions (such as certain in-game chat privileges) will remain in place until payment verification is fully complete. This may take up to 72 hours.

I am sorry for what frustration this may cause you, Kirto, hopefully the purchase will process quickly and those restrictions can be lifted.

Good luck.
