Legit question about "trading" gold.

Hi, I'm planning on sending some gold to a very good friend as a birthday gift. It's 5.2k gold. For an obvious reason :D

Anyways, I've heard people saying that they've been banned for "Trading" gold in vast amounts, without any questioning or verification as to the legitimacy of the exchange.

The last thing I want is a gesture of goodwill to end up in an account ban for either of us.

Is there any method to make sure neither of us get banned because of a lazy ban radar?

We won't (and don't) penalize players for legitimate gold transactions. If you or anyone else wants to send their friend five thousand gold gathered from sources what aren't illicit, then you're quite free to do so without fear of the long arm of the law.

If you bought that five thousand gold, though, you might suddenly find yourself in a bit of a budget crisis. ;)

This intrigues me! What's the name and realm of the character that got suspended?

I've reviewed the facts and getting that guild bank had nothing to do with your suspension. There was evidence that third-party automation programs were in use on your machine; if this isn't the case, you should contact Account Administration at [email protected] to have it looked into.

No, the Game Master you spoke with was correct. Economy Exploitation is a blanket category we use when dealing with illicit activities in-game.

ok must be a mistake then coz i definitely dont have any of those

Hopefully it'll get sorted out by AA, then. Make sure to note any programs or services you feel might've tripped our alarms if you have any in mind.

Account warnings are soulbound. They can't be transferred. :)
