Arena Battlemasters Unavailable Update 12/07

Update-

We will be issuing rolling restarts for all realms at 5:00 AM PST, December 8 in order to enable the arena battlemasters and arena system. We estimate each realm to be affected for approximately 15 minutes.

Please be aware that there is a known issue with the Arenas and most buffs and conjured items are not being removed upon entry into an arena as intended. This is currently slated to be corrected in a future patch.

Update -

We're still in the process of testing issues that are occurring with the arena and battleground systems and waiting to ensure that the arenas can be brought up with little issue. We're currently estimating that the earliest they will be available is Friday, December 8. We apologize to those of you looking forward to the arena system and we hope to have them available for you as soon as possible.

We have temporarily disabled the battlemasters for the arena system due to an issue that appeared during our patch implementation today. We anticipate this issue to be resolved by tomorrow and we will provide an update once the battlemasters and arenas are available. The issue will be able to be resolved with a hotfix while the realms are live and should not require any additional downtime. The battlemasters for the battlegrounds will still be available during this time.

Yea, my thoughts exactly... one post says 2 hour delay to fix arenas, another says they will be fixed and there will be no additional downtime... are these 2 separate issues?

The delay in the realms coming back up is due to an issue with the arenas. This post is informing that the arenas will not be available (due to the issue) but are anticipated to be available tomorrow.

The main update on the post states that we hope to have them available on the 8th (Tommorrow). We will keep everyone updated with further developments as they occur.
