Maintenance has been on a Tuesday ever since the start of World of Warcraft. Perhaps you should ask the school to move the snow days for the future so that it does not coincide with maintenance days?

I'll repeat the same thing I tend to have to repeat every time we don't have rolling restarts.

Rolling restarts were never promised as an everyday thing, but we did say we would try to do them as often as possible. If we feel that we need time to do more extensive maintenance, we won't be doing rolling restarts. When we can do rolling restarts, we will.

Aside from that, those that wish to attack what I choose to post about, please note, that we have stated many times in the past that our roles as Community Managers is not to answer every question that comes to these forums. (There is no way we ever could with the sheer volume here anyway.) These forums are a means for the community to come together to discuss new ideas, gameplay, and in general be a community. (Whether you think it is the best or worst of them or not.)

Our jobs as Community Team members is to take part in the community, be it in humorous ways or in more official capacities such as relaying information. We are often accused of not giving information, when in fact, we either have and it's been missed, or we have done it in a less obvious way than people realize. Our roles have many "behind the scenes" components to them. We are not forum moderators, though we take part in moderating as we see it necessary. We are not Customer Service, we have a fantastic Customer Service Team that does that. We are not obligated to answer every question or post on the forums either.

We post where we can, what we can, as we can. We work on many projects behind the scenes (Including the Blizzcast of which we still need your questions submitted for), we relay information and feedback from the forums, and yes, we occasionally show our human side with a bit of humor. You do not have to laugh at our jokes. It was not a part of any agreements you signed. You can and should, however, refrain from feeling the urge to troll threads with your feelings on whether we are or are not doing our jobs properly so that you don't derail such threads. Should you feel strongly enough about sending feedback our way, you can feel free to do so at the usual email (found in the topmost sticky) at [email protected] . They are read, but they are not all responded to.

The attacks on the original poster aren't warranted, folks. Comments meant in humor are fine. Anything else is going beyond what it should be.

I would suggest a good book, but I don't know what your taste is. Nothing beats a good book and a nice hot beverage on a snow day.

mmmm.. hot chocolate.. and.. a spider-man comic.. HEAVEN.

so..Nethaera.. how boring is your job? doesn't seem like fun listening to everyone whine everyday.

My job is fantastic. Again, people only get to see a small part of it and despite what people may think, I enjoy getting to talk to so many of you on a daily basis. The big face to face events we have with the community are even more fun for me.
