Three of thier pets are in the top 20 most dangerous mobs, they've killed more people with Voidwalkers than Nefarian has.

They have created over 3 million soul shards. It's easier for a warlock to kill a player/mob his level than it is to craft a runecloth bandage. Mages make fewer crystal waters than warlocks make soul shards, and mages make multiple water with each cast.

This last one blows me away.

This shows that at 60 Mages are 14% of the population of wow, and Warlocks are 9%. Even with more mages and the ability / necessity to make water for themselves and others by the hundreds Warlocks are making more soul Shards than mages make water.

I find your interpretation of statistical data somewhat flawed.

For the first stat, BGs occur with much more frequencey than raids do, particularly since the introduction of cross-server battlegrounds. Previously, this list included 'Cat', which was an often used hunter pet. The potential for a pet to kill a player or creature is much greater at a base level than it is for a single creature type to kill a player. That is, in my estimation, the biggest factor to consider in that statistic.

Secondly, soul shards are a core mechanic of the warlock class. It is of no surprise that they are created more than crystal water, because again there are many more situations in which shards will be created or consumed.

The last point becomes less relevant when considering the first two points.
