Is PLAYING on a private server bannable?

I searched and all I can find is info on HOSTING a private server being bannable. I want to know if I can get banned for PLAYING on a private server, because I want to try it. Obviously, I won't be playing one if it's banable, but I'm interested in trying it if not.

As it has already been mentioned previously in this thread, hosting and playing on a Private Server are indeed against our End User License Agreement. Most specifically Section 4(B).
