Is it just me or has the number of keyloggers being posted lately gone through the roof? Does Blizzard take action against these accounts that are posting them? From what I've seen they are usually posted by 70s so it seems to me that some whacks with the ban-hammer would really put a strong disincentive for this kind of behavior.

Report them. We've been keeping tabs on as many of them as we can and taking appropriate action. As always, be careful what you click and use the report function so that the moderators can hunt these posts down and death touch them into the forum void where they can no longer harm others.

You do realize that those 70s posting the keyloggers are actually accounts that have already been keylogged. So banning those accounts would hurt the innocent(stupid, but innocent).

Of course, if they ban the accounts, maybe they can stop a hacker in the middle of sharding someone's epics ;)

Suspending their account first off, keeps their account from continuing to post keyloggers, and second off, gives them a chance to get in touch with Customer Service about recovering their account. From there, we can re institute their forum posting privileges once everything is cleared up again.
