Roughly how long does character restore take?

I'm not going to go into details, but I logged on after a year break and found my password/user name the same but my main character deleted. I already went through the GM in-game and she/he said the issue was forwarded to the Investigation Team with the information I was told to say via Account & Billing. How long does this stuff normally take to process? The GM said several days, but I've found posts of people getting answers as long as several weeks and am wondering what the mean normally is. I really don't wanna wait 3 weeks to get my character back. =\

It really depends on how many others are in queue for assistance along with the complexity of your investigation, Entropic. The queue is getting much shorter lately due to the hard work of our Investigation Team.

I've confirmed your case was forwarded correctly so you should hear back within a few days to a week or so.

Q u o t e:
Bump. There's no email or phone number for the investigatory team so I'm looking to see where the case is in the queue.

I'm sorry, Entropic, I really couldn't give you an answer for that. All I can do it confirm that you are in queue, not where in queue you are. I do apologize for the lack of information though, it is not our intention to keep you in the dark, the team just spends all of its time looks into these cases and can not spare it to provide time estimates.

Given the current state of the queues you should hear something in the next couple of days I hope.
