CMs and "Shaman Info"

A few weeks ago it was said that Nethaera and Eyonix were working on getting some info from the devs in regards to what the future holds for the class and what 2.4 will bring. It looks like we got a bit of this from Kalgan's momentous visit to the Shaman Forum, but all of this was just more talk about "deciding what buffs to give" along with the already given nerfs.

Neth's post: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=4493333102&postId=46648905627&sid=1#839

One can assume that the information Eyo and Neth were going to be given is in regards to this.

So my question is this: Any progress or information you CMs can share with us in this last week of February?

Thanks.

The moment we have information we can post, we'll provide it accordingly.

I am with Kain on this one- Neth has lost my confidence entirely. And when Kalgan made his appearance (just in time to quell the riots about suspected nepotism), not ONE of the positive changes he eluded to occured.

I feel betrayed.

We can only give information when we have it available to give. We have stated before that we will give more information when we have it and until then, there really isn't much for us to say. I know it's hard to wait, but there is nothing more we can say at this time.

Darshnar, I continue to appreciate not only your dedication, but your continued efforts to post constructively. I also understand your frustrations. You may feel let down and betrayed, but we are still here whether you feel we are or not.

I can hang out with you all and interject a few words here and there, but it's not going to be what many people want right now. The most I can say is that everyone (not just Shaman) need to continue to be patient even still. We have a lot of things and a lot of information in the works and we'll share it once we are able.

How much longer to wait, Neth? Do CMs enjoy taunting us with this line?

I can assure you, that isn't our mindset at all. We wouldn't be where we are if we didn't genuinely care about the community, the game, and the company we work for.

As for rescinding an obligation, we're not necessarily doing that. What we're doing is saying, that information isn't coming right now for many things people are asking about. But, we still have things in the works that don't just focus on any one class. And we're saying that because our focus isn't on any one class right now but on all classes as well as the future of World of Warcraft given the work we are doing on Wrath of the Lich King.

I can't promise a timeframe, nor can I promise what all the information will entail or outline it for you. But when we do have information and as soon as we are approved to post about it, we will. These sorts of things aren't quick and easy off the top of our head responses. They take a bit of work and research and rely heavily on time and timing.
