ok....im back in the game. my new complaint is this: i pay for 60 days of gametime at 29.99 per 60 days....but yet blizz insists on shutting down the servers EVERY tuesday claiming to fix stuff and maintain the server.....whatever...i paid for 60 days and im not getting it..is this like false advertising or something in that lame excuse called the ESRB? either way Blizz.....at this point i think you need to pro-rate the game because selling 60 days worth of gametime and not getting 60 days worth of gametime is like lying...which is a load of poop. give me credit or give me cash...till then i'll be on another game that is up and running. i dont like getting scammed out of hours, minutes or days...this is a tactic that i find insulting. credit me and every other wow acct holder or tell EVERY warcraft prospect that EVERY tuesday they will not be able to play WoW because Blizz finds it necessary to shut down the servers so they can 'maintain' the servers.......

No.

You have not been lied to. You have not been cheated. You have not been swindled, hoodwinked, scammed, or hornswoggled. These maintenances—the so-called source of such "[insulting tactics]"—are a necessary process for the overall functionality and stability of this game as a whole. That they should cause minimal preclusion of play time each month is perhaps inconvenient, but certainly not a violation of any agreement we've entered.

You've been a contributing member to this community for—what I can tell—nearly 2 years, my friend. By my extremely rough calculations, this means you've agreed to our Terms of Use at least 9 times, excluding new installations. Should you have found our schedule and practice of subscription deplorable, you were presented the opportunity—again, roughly 9 times—to detest and decline agreement. This said, though, as you've been a part of this game and its growth for such a jaunt, I do not believe you are foreign to the value of our planned, weekly repairs, nor do I think that you truly put faith in the idea that Blizzard Entertainment is in the business of extortion—if not, well...perhaps I'm just hopelessly optimistic.

In the end, Warrwench, if you are rapt with sound and fury over this proclaimed injustice and feel the need to imbue your crusade with more lasting testimony, you will not find protest herein. If you have lost the desire or will to continue your journey within the World of Warcraft, I wish you luck elsewhere. :)
