We take harassment very seriously, Torí, and when reported through the appropriate means we look into the matter and take what actions are appropriate based on our policies.

Ongoing harassment situations can be fairly complex so it is important to use the systems in place to not only help prevent further harassment but also to build a history that can be used in our investigation.

In particular please make sure to do the following:

1. Never respond.
If you are carrying on a conversation with the person, especially if you are mutually combative, it can limit our ability to help.
2. Place the person on ignore.
Even if the character is a level one alternate character, the act if placing the person on ignore helps us to verify that the contact is unwanted and that they are purposefully circumventing the ignore system.
3. Report each incident.
Simply contacting a person is not in and of itself a violation of our policies. A history must be established to show that the unwanted contact is ongoing. When that happens, if they do not then stop, the penalties start stacking fairly quick.

There are a few sites out there that track character updates. I know of no way to block that information.

I looked into your petition history and I do show that you have reported a particular character several times, and that the matter was fully investigated and appropriate actions were taken for any violations found.

Assuming you are referring to the same person, looking at the most recent petitions you have submit, it doesn't appear that you made any indication that you believe this to be the same person. You mentioned that you believe the character's were alts from a specific guild but nothing further. Please understand that you have a number of petitions in your history and without some indication that this is related to an ongoing harassment matter, the advice given would have been based off of what was stated in the ticket, not your entire petition history.

Since this thread was redirected it would probably be best to lock it. If you have additional questions that I may be able to help with please feel free to create another thread. Note that I will be unable to give specifics about a player's account but I will give what advice I can.
