Is there a reason why PvE'ers get PvP gear?

Im just curious if anyone has an explanation as to why they are doing this. From everything I've read, both PvPers and PvE'ers have wanted to keep the two separate, right? Isnt that why they changed the water nerf so that it only affects arenas?

So now, you have people farming their instances every week getting multiple set peices before tuesday even, which was previously impossible for pvpers.

With this change, I'm just curious, am I going to be able to buy mounts for arena points? (I dont mean the 4 that have been out since the honor rewards were implemented) Am I going to be able to get new BGs and arenas every other patch?

Now, before anything, I have raided on my paladin, I've seen up to bloodboil so I know how it is to raid. I honestly dont believe that "Getting 25 people together and making them listen" is exactly justified for getting this. Im not saying either game play is harder than the other.

I also understand that this has been brought up a million times before, I'm just looking to opinions on why blizzard is doing this. I play this game for PvP, I dont want to PvE anymore (Although I have to when I need things like cloaks appearently), so why is it that I have to be disadvantaged?

You responses are always too short an uninformative, bornakk.

I generally aim to say things in one sentence instead of rambling for a whole paragraph and if I feel that more needs to be said, I can make further posts.

But in this case, I don't want to ruin anything that is coming in the BlizzCast episode, so tune in when it comes out. :)

'when it comes out...'

That could a billion years from now.

No exaggeration there whatsoever.

Actually, there is a possibility it will be out next week. ;-)

Nice :D

I've never listened in on one of those... what is it exactly? A podcast?

It is a podcast with the goal of not strictly providing new information on our games, but of bringing you "deeper into the world of Blizzard" to hopefully give you a better understanding of who the developers are that make our games and what they do. You can check out our first episode here: http://us.blizzard.com/blizzcast/
