this command doesnt work right now in the PTRs. maybe this is the wrong place to post this, but is it because the command hasnt been implemented yet, or is the command being removed?

I hope it stays around, I like it a lot.

It does. *grin*

You need to pick the '?' icon though, otherwise it'll use the icon that you've chosen.

I'm assuming the [button:x] option isn't in yet either?

No, not yet.

Also, I'd like to know if there's a way to "use" an item slot.

Yes, just use the number of the slot. For example, to use both trinket slots, you could do:
/use 13
/use 14

If you have two numbers, it'll use the first one as the bag, and the second as the bag slot.

I don't know if it's a bug or not, but options don't seem to work with /use <slot#>.

Darn out of date test realms!

Yes, it works in the next update. :)

Will these /use macros automatically use the correct icon in the same fashion as /castsequence, changing to reflect the current item in the inventory or bag slot?

No, /use by slot number doesn't pick the icon for the inventory slot. At least currently, anyway.

I think this is a bug in the way /castsequence allows you to use items or spells.

Yep, it's allowing partial matches on item names. This is fixed for WoW 2.0 release.

Thanks!
