Why are Linux users being unfairly banned?

It seems like a large number of Linux users are being unfairly targeted for banning:

I realize that Linux is "unsupported", but could a Blizzard Rep please state once and for all, Yes or No, will you be banned just for running WoW on Linux, using Cedega or WINE?
