Blizzard's crackdown on Botting is a joke.

I'm sorry, but it is. You report people who are obviously gold farming by botting and the next day they are right back out there doing it again.

Blizzard, this guy is walking into a tree... then he follows an identical path for 4 hours, and amazingly enough he never gets mad that I tag every one of his kills right before he hits it.

I just saw an article in a gaming magazine where they paid to have a warlock powerleveled to 40. They watched from another toon, and reported the character they were powerleveling for clearly botting. No affect whatsoever.

Are GM's ever going to take these reports seriously, or is blizzard ok with botters as long as its either a warlock or shaman?

I think you're making far too many assumptions about my line of work and our investigation methods when tracking game abuses. If you'd like to provide me with a character name and its realm from your wife's account, I'd be happy to give the situation to which you're referring further review.
