sorry if this is someplace on here, but i can't find anything about it...
i just saw a screenshot that said somethig to the effect of "you've been playing for 5 hours, you will not gain XP/loot, please take a break you will be able to gain xp/loot in 5 hours of being logged off"

ummm... please tell me this isn't going to be live in TBC.

i'm going to be really REALLY mad if i can't spend my days off from work leveling all day and capping it off with a nice raid at the end...
i mean even as it is this means i can't go gather up some mats for the night and go to bwl orsomething and still be getting loot by the end of it, let alone when we get into tbc and i've spent 5 hours getting exp and then want to go raid something new in outland for loot..

some info please?

The message you saw is a mechanic implemented in specific regions due to laws in those countries; however the error being seen by some players on the PTRs would be due to the fact that they have used the closed beta client to connect to the PTR realms, which is warned against here - http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=47504872&sid=1 as it may cause odd errors, crashes, and anomalies. But no, we're not planning to institute those restrictions.
