Question about HK DR removal in 2.4.

There is a 50 kill limit in a battleground, after which honor will not be rewarded. How about PvP that occurs outside of battlegrounds? I assume it is basically unlimited (excepting, of course, characters marked as honorless because of rezzing), which will make World PvP a viable way of gaining Honor (if only it weren't for those stinking marks!), but I haven't seen anything explicitly stating that.

Does any blue have a clue?

Right, as Gladeus here said the limitation in battlegrounds is per-player. If you die 50 times in a battleground you're no longer worth honor to anyone. The limit isn't "after you kill 50 people", unless of course it's the same person for all of those 50 times.

Getting to your question, there's no currently planned overarching limitations on any PvP outside of the battlegrounds, which would be outdoor "world PvP". You of course have rez-timers to compete with and all of the other inconsistencies that come with world PvP, and as stated in the change any one with the rez sickness debuff is worth no honor. I assume though, however, that Lake Wintergrasp in the WotLK expansion won't be a bad way to earn honor in an outdoor environment.

We're going to be watching the results of the change and limitations may come or go or be altered to ensure that honor is being gained within acceptable boundaries.

Q u o t e:

So will people be banned who stand in a graveyard trading kills with a horde friend all day? :P

We'll definitely be watching for exploitation, and yes some actions may result in disciplinary measures.

I did leave out one little fact (edited in), and that's anyone with a rez sickness debuff will be worth no honor, so that would probably put a damper on things considering you're going to be waiting for a rez timer after a while. It's probably more lucrative to just jump in a battleground.
