Lore Problem

Up to Warcraft 3, I loved the lore in Warcraft. When World of Warcraft came out, I was equally impressed with it even into the Burning Crusade. However, with Wrath of the Lich King coming out it's starting to get kind of dull. To put it simply:

Your killing of all the antagonists.

Lets face it, what kind of game is it when the "good" win all the time? Offer a little bit of twist in the game, for example, Prince Arthas joining the Scourge. That's the kind of twists WoW need. Another example that I thought would be great is if Malfurion Stormrage became part of the Emerald Nightmare and became a major antagonist in WoW. Just a example.

To sum it up: Offer more twists in WoW, the good guys don't always win and things don't always work out. Good guys go bad, and the other way around. Give us more flavor in the lore Bliz :P

The lore is always evolving. It's a living story and is bound to continue to expand upon itself. To say all of the antagonists are being killed off makes it seem as if the lore is finite and so are the characters within it. This isn't true. Like any book you read, it's always difficult to see a favorite character die whether they are the hero or villain, but it does happen.

The story is merely progressing as it was meant to do and will continue to progress.

As for good guys going bad, have you met Arthas? Do you remember how he got where he is? His story brings up many questions and perhaps many of those questions are yet to be answered within the Wrath of the Lich King. I'm sure his isn't the only story that we will see get played out.

We still have the Kirin Tor and the butting of heads with Malygos. What have the Kirin Tor been up to inside the confines of Dalaran anyway? Who do we still have to meet and who will we see again?

It's easy to oversimplify what has been happening with Azeroth, when there really are a lot of complexities to the story that are so easily overlooked.
