Why Does Kara Still Have Attunement?

Just asking out of curiosity, I'm not advocating they actually do it. Blizzard wants to make raiding access easier for players. This is evident with the MH/BT attunement removal (which I approve of). If this is the route Blizzard wants to take why not get rid of Kara's as well?

The attunement process for Karazhan can be seen as a good way to find a group of people to run it with.

That's a lovely thought, Bornakk, and I can agree with the concept behind it.

I do, however, feel that there should be some method in place for people who already have a guild to attune characters to Kara without doing the low-level instances. (Remember when you had scrolls drop from Vashj that allowed guilds to attune new players quickly? Why can't that mechanic be applied to Kara?)

I've run Shadow Lab literally dozens of times, mostly during the process of getting my Druid keyed to the heroic version for epic flight form before the entry requirement was lowered to Honored. The same with Steamvaults. I'm frankly tired of these instances and it's a real drag to have to go back through content I don't enjoy at all and have done over and over in the past just so that I can get my healing Paladin into Kara when we need some extra heals.

Sure, yell at me all you want. Call me lazy. Etc. I just never want to see the inside of Shadow Lab (or Steamvaults, or Old Hillsbrad) ever again. I think doing an attunement of that length on one character should be good.

Thoughts, Bornakk?

If you have already run them a lot, it will probably be a quick and easy task for a new alt-character to go through them with your friends and complete the entire attunement.
