I found these SS from a old post...

I then relized the player Lunchboxx was talking to him about a arena team issue it looks like and this is what happend... (all the below is from Lunchboxx)

As mentioned above—though to expand further—the database which stores all in-game character information is separate from the database through which one may search in the Armory; in effort to keep all Armory searches as timely and efficient as possible, the latter database will update with less frequency than its in-game counterpart.

This said, one's character profile is intended to update at every successful log out; however, this information may not amend for several days. While these incongruities are not unexpected (given that the Armory is presently in Beta), they still merit investigation; please feel free to use the "Report an Error" button located at the bottom, left-hand corner of the screen to alert our staff of any notable discrepancies. You may also wish to email wowguide@blizzard.com for more in-depth explanations.

Your avatar is linked with the Armory, so any discrepancy noted in that database will reflect here. That, and your avatar wants to be an individual, too.
