Sorry for deleting the other topic, Pavo - this one was already rolling though.

Just as a note, Syndri brought me delicious haribo gummi coke bottles. She is a saint amongst sprite darters.

While not frozen, I am helpless before their chewy allure.

I was totally going to put the gummi bears in the freezer, but invariably got distracted by cafeteria breakfast smells before I could. Woe.

Huge fan of the Buckley and Wainwright versions. I've got the Buckley one playing right now.

The strain in Buckley's voice when he sings "it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah" for the first time...truly amazing.

No, but for Krypter, ah break ALL THE RULES

She's good! How about yourself?

Slept poorly, didn't eat before I left for work, can't stop looping Hallelujah. I think my coworker is giving me cheesy bread, though, so maybe things are looking up.

You should be fine; I think he is just changing colors. ;) It's something we are aware of. ^_^

Belf, so you know, you mentioning that song made me listen to it again, and after that, I taught myself how to play it on piano, but I'm having a little difficulty with it. :p

I play many, many instruments. :D

Learning it is easy!

It goes like this:

The fourth,
The fifth,
The minor fall,
And the major lift.

Q u o t e:

Wouldn't that name be in violation of Blizzard's naming policy...? ;)

This is a common misconception, especially with RPers! Compound names are fine.

My general rule of thumb I used to give players was "Can you imagine a dwarf, a gnome, or a night elf having that last name? Then it's fine." After all, 90% of our NPC surnames are compound words, and lovely ones at that.

Belf, pretty sure he meant;

diph·thong
Phonetics. an unsegmentable, gliding speech sound varying continuously in phonetic quality but held to be a single sound or phoneme and identified by its apparent beginning and ending sound, as the oi-sound of toy or boil.

And I'm pretty sure that, being a grammar and punctuation fiend, I knew exactly what he meant and I was making a joke :(

Uh...

All right.

EDIT: Okay, I'll be gullible and bite. Was there seriously that much of a misunderstanding after I jokingly linked the CoC when Kanty said a word with "thong" in it? I assumed he was rolling with it.

Q u o t e:
The first Sonic Adventure is a pain to use because of the slow growth of food. The chao themselves are more advanced on the Cube version but #2 is better. I wish they would do a new one.

Belf did you ever make a chaos, angel or devil chao?

Nope, my aim in that game was actually strictly to make a lion chao.

Apparently, either I'm a terrible puppy-mommy, or my puppy is a brat.

I went to take the boy home, came home, and found that she'd tracked wet dog food all over her cage. So, in addition to smelling like the nasty place she came from, she smelled like dog food. This, of course, necessitated a sink bath with a bit of dishsoap. She hasn't stopped crying since I came in the door. And she's shaking.

I think I broke the puppy. :(

The first few days are hardest for new puppy mommies. Ride it out. Puppy will be fine.

I retired my Human once The Burning Crusade launched in hopes of experiencing the game from a different viewpoint. At this point, I've raided all pre-BC end-game content with Alliance and all post-BC end-game content with Horde. It's certainly been a nice mix.
