There are several rare mounts one can get, including tigers, raptors, skeletal warhorses, the wierd horse from kara, spectral tigers, turtles, add infinitum.
However, Brewfest (which i'm assuming is yearly) gives players from both sides a chance to earn the right to buy a ram. For you horde that wanted it, glad you got it, that rocks.
Now for us alliance who find horde mounts interesting, I find it odd I have yet to see an Earth Mother fest for me to play games for tickets to be able to buy a kodo.
In all honesty (unless theres some event I'm unaware of) it seems a little one sided that horde get a free shot to earn the right to buy an alliance mount, yet there is no opposite side to this coin.
I would like a skeletal warhorse, or a raptor, but in all honesty not alot of people want to run Strat or ZG anymore, and with the small drop percentage on these farming them would take more effort than they're really worth. If there were say, some event where I could earn tickets toward being able to buy one....
Don't get me wrong, I'm the kind of guy who tries to tell people who scream Blizz loves this side and hates us that 90% or better of the game is fair and even but different, but I would really like equal treatment here. To some it may not be a big deal, but I know there are plenty of horde out there with rams they got from Brewfest. All I'm asking is an equal shot at a horde mount, through tickets and purchase, instead of having to farm raids or old instances.
If such a thing exists, someone please, inform me, I'd love to be wrong in that respect.
