One more complaint about the spamming going on in-game. I'm sure this has already hit the boards but just adding my 2 copper.

[removed] - posting, from what I have seen, in the general chat channel on Muradin and I'm sure several other servers. I can understand how it happens but can't seem to grasp why it hasn't been stopped. Name of the website is right there.

I personally feel that it's not a solution to abandon the channels advertised on. What's to stop them from using all the channels?

I'm no computer whiz but it just seems to me that a character name leads to an account which leads to a payment method. Gotta be a trail. Unless of course it's an outright hack which needs to be sealed. *shrug*

Just hope something can be done about it.

My apologies for the lack of faith in something being done. Still looks like a long way to go but it's progress.

In fact, since the time of that old news post, the numbers of accounts closed for such activities has risen dramatically. These days, dozens of times that number of accounts are banned every month for similar violations of the game's Terms of Use. This is part of Blizzard's aggressive stance against cheating in World of Warcraft.
