GM threatens physical violence(not joke)

I'd like to know if this is reportable. An officer in my guild(on another char), has recently informed me that he and his wife are quitting the guild because they heard in officer chat that our GM was seriously speaking about finding me(GM lives in the same state as me) and doing a good deal of physical violence. Now, I'm not trolling or making a joke, I'm being completely serious. I didn't believe the officer but I know the guy is way to old and mature to joke around with anything even remotely similar to this. He just told me that a few weeks ago the GM was talking about it in officer chat when he was the only officer online. I know GM's don't enforce guild chat. But I know our GM works heavily in the IT field with some serious connections(which the GM has proven before). Of course I can just leave the guild and it would likely be over. I've had serious disagreements with the GM before and there was just a lot of drama between us.

I of course presume that the game takes serious strides to conceal stuff like a persons IP address or the like but hell you never know when someone is hell bent on something.

At any rate, I would like to hear from a GM on what can be done or what I should do. Again this all sounded pretty laughable when I first heard this but I've known the officer and his wife for quite a while now and this guy is not the type to just make up something as laughable as this and I've made sure he's absolutely honest with all this.
