I Like a Serious Response Please

I Tryed asked this question to GM and the fourms on Sunday, but to no avail, i got only harassment and non-response from all of the above.

The question is/was: "Wall Jumping; defined as climbing on top of buildings/stuctures as Goldshire Inn, AH, and any other structures, is this a violation of TOS, and if so, please describe the location of the TOS it violates".

Now i understand that this may or not me an unintented feature, but since the programmers have yet to "fix" it, i feel that this logic may not be adequete.

ALSO, the Bug Exploatation Policy clearly describes only bugs that are "exploited", that word defined in 5.C.2 of the TOS is one that gives an unfair advantage to another player. It is true that Rooftop Camping, as defined in the In-Game Help, is such, but for wall jumping for pure recreational purposes, such as to dance on top of a building, provides no such advantage, esp in non-contested, and non-PVP servers.

Henceforth, I ask must humbly for a clear explaintion of this policy. When I attempted to ask GM, I was only referred here and to the policies listing, but to no avail, cannot find ANY article in respect to Wall Jumping.

Alexsama, the section of the ToU that Lissanna pointed out to you, would have also been the section I would have given you. However, if that is not enough for you, I could also point out the Exploitation Policy: (http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowgm/?id=agm01716p) , which goes a couple steps further. It touches upon both Abuse of unintended design flaws (bug exploitation) and Abuse of Game Mechanics, which is exactly what I would consider what you are describing.

I would head over to the Exploitation Policy, and read over those two sections. Hope that helps clear everything up for you, mate. :0)

Alexsama, The Outlands is a slightly different story. As you may notice, any mountain peek is able to be reached by the aforementioned flying mounts. Therefore, it would not be considered exploiting, as this was the intended use for said mounts.

I do not disagree that the first violates TOS. Its the second interpreation of it I do....

If you wish to debate this matter, a supervisor would not be able to assist you any further than I can, mate. Any changes or alterations to how we deal with the situation would need to be taken to the Suggestions Forum. However, if you feel the need to speak to a supervisor, I would encourage you to take up a petition in-game, and request to speak to one.
