No point in profanity filter

whats the point in teh profanity filter?..its against the TOU policy to use vulgar and innapropriate language yet people get reported on a daily basis for using it...the game is rated T for teen so if your really a teenager you shouldnt have any problem seeing that kind of language anyway...but the point is why not allow people to use whatever language they want...or is there really a point in the profanity filter?
