How long does the Character Transfer take?

Hi, Forum GM's and everyone.

I just made a transfer on one of my character and from what the character transfer page said, the process may take several days. But on the Character transfer status page, it lists

Approval Process:
Average wait time: 1 hour

so my question is does the transfer take several days or 1 hour?

And do all my stuff in the bank transfer along with my character?

Edit: And this is a paid transfer, not the free one.

It can vary depending on the current queue of those waiting for transfers; you'll want to keep refreshing your Transactions page on the Paid Character page here: (https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/character-transfer-status.html) to check for the final verification step.

Shouldn't be too long now, Bobo!

And yes, all of your bank items will transfer with you.

I just transfered 15 minutes ago, so the next thing I should do now is to wait for the approval process to jump to the Finalize payment process?

Anyway, I will keep refreshing the page every 30 minutes. Thought the transfer would take couple days, hopefully now, I can play my character tonight :D

Usually the Transactions page will update before the email even gets sent, so simply refreshing that page should give you a heads up. :)

The Paid Character Transfer service changed recently. Before you used to have to put in your credit card information, a test charge would be applied and then the character would be put into an approval pending queue. After the transfer was approved you would need to again put in your credit card information and finalize the transaction.

Now you just need to put in the request once, enter the credit card that is paying for the transaction and wait. Once the transfer is approved it will appear at the destination.
