Lunar Festival, Elune's Blessing Problem

The quest to kill Omen rewards Elune's Lantern, a Lunar Festival Fireworks Pack, and 3 Solid Stone. But...

If you already have Elune's Lantern in your bank from previous festivals, you cannot complete this quest.

The quest system determines you already have an Elune's Lantern, and fails to complete the quest. I had to go to Darnassus, delete the Elune's Lantern in my bank, then go back and complete the quest.

The quest system should be modified so that it will give the rewards, minus the item you may already have in your inventory. It irritated me to have to go to Darnassus to delete the item, then return to Moonglade to complete the quest.

I don't believe this is something that can be easily changed, but we'll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks for the feedback. :)

It's certainly something to keep in mind for all holidays, not just Lunar Festival, and as we revisit them this will most certainly be a factor in the changes we make. :)

Also Griftah's going to be quiet for a while, I believe...

Now, now. I adore Griftah and I'm not abandoning the crazy ol' soul, but there are others that require our attention. ;)

I did indeed say that, but you have to understand how far in the future we have to work in order to offer you revamped content. We're in the process of working on a holiday right this instant, in fact, but it's a holiday you won't see for months on end.

Plans are still in place to revamp our holiday content. Be patient, please. :)

I didn't say we wouldn't be touching Lunar Festival. It's definitely on our list. We were simply unable to add anything new for this year.

Love is in the Air isn't completely revamped, but I wouldn't say it has been left untouched.... ;)
