My account has been banned... now what

Yeah I am the guy who previously wanted information as to when my character would be returned. I get an email today stating the following:
"It has recently been brought to our attention that the World of Warcraft account you are using has been willingly shared with a third party (for example, a sibling, friend and/or leveling service). The account has received the following action:

Account Name: *********
Original Realm: Akama
Original Character Name: Livewyah

Account Action: Warning
Offense: Unauthorized Account Access Policy Violation - Account Sharing
This category applies to players who have:
· Willingly shared their account information with others
· Allowed others to access their account

Details: After a thorough investigation, we have found that the registered user of the account has shared account login information and allowed others to access the account."

I am confused what this thorough investigation was. My account had been disabled for a while. I called my password reset and they told me I had to add game time to play. I did and when I logged in my toon was gone. I submit a ticket to get my toon back and I get a ban???

Reall can a GM tell me how to fight this because something is wrong

The account in question is not banned. However, the only method to recover access to this account would be to follow the account retrieval instructions you were sent via email.

I realize how this could be a bit confusing, but I wish you luck.

Edit: I'd refer to the email that Account Administration sent you regarding the fate of the character in question, as I'm unable to authoritatively hold forth on its fate.
