So apparently Blizzplanet got some information with regard to the next installment of Blizzcast and claims it should be on the way this week. Confirm/Deny/Cake?

We don't have an ETA we can announce regarding the next BlizzCast episode. While the main recording has been completed we still have some steps to take to get it ready by our standards, but it isn't too far off for sure. :)

Why does stuff seem to be getting done slower and sloooower....

Considering there has been only 1 BlizzCast episode ever, I'm not sure how it can seem slower and slower. ;-)

Do you happen to have the list of people being interviewed this time? If so, is that something you can spill the beans on?

The beans have to stay in the can with the lid on for now, but as soon as we have an announcement to make we'll be tossing beans all over the place.

Bornakk, I think they're talking about everything in general. Patch notes - slow to release. New content - slow to release. Class feedback from the feedback posts - slow to release. New expansions - slow to release.

You guys are Blizzard, yes, and known for your thoroughness, but lately it has just gotten out of hand. This is an MMO, not a new RTS you can take your dandy time with :)

While I could ramble about things you have probably heard already like "they aren't ready" - the reason for my comment is that this is a thread regarding Blizzcast, episode 2 in particular, please stay on target.... stay on target. ;-)

Q u o t e:
not to thread hijack or anything (ok well yeah it is to thread hijack) but i just got a nifty idea for CM feedback. have a feedback button similar to the biohazard button that people could use to give feedback on bliz posts

If you have any feedback to give regarding Community Managers you can already email it to [email protected]

wasnt the BlizzCast supposed to be weekly?

I don't believe that was ever stated anywhere. We don't have an official time line on when new BlizzCast episodes will be released as it takes a lot of coordination with other people (like the people we interview) and these people are pretty much always busy.

Bornakk, you should let me do the announcing for BlizzCast. I have an awesome radio voice ;D

I appreciate the offer, but I had fun with it and think I'll improve my radio voice with practice. ;-)

Not to start anything...but is this episode going to give any new information? or it is going to be repeated info that we already read on the forums along with someone's life story like last time. You guys should really look at the WAR podcasts, they give TONS of new info in their podcasts. Despite the fact they have tons of new info since the game is about to come out... information could be released about future patches.

And to build off what was said, the tag line at the top of the official BlizzCast page is "Taking you deeper into the world of Blizzard." While new game/content information might be discussed from time to time, that isn't the primary goal. Instead we want to bring some unique perspectives to the variety of aspects involved in making games and our company in general.
